Anton går sin egen väg

Anton Leuba är musikern som väljer att gå sin egen väg och att själv ta ansvar för alla delar av sin musik. Han skriver, spelar och sjunger allting själv. Han har dessutom valt att producera och distribuera musiken, för att ha full kontroll över sitt skapande.

Fyra våningar upp, över Flen och de grå järnvägsspåren står en kanna kaffe på bryggning och Lady Gaga sjunger upprepande ur högtalarsystemet i det kombinerade vardags- och sovrummet. Anton Leuba flyttade hemifrån i början av sommaren. Numera pendlar han till jobbet och det före detta hemmet i Bettna, där han jobbar på familjeföretaget Lita Screen tillsammans med sin mor, far och lillebror.

I just posted a demo (omfg!) on my tumblr. I totally overruled the perfectionist in me and decided to publish this very not perfected piece of music. Maybe it’s the fever or just desperation to be heard.

I’ll be adding to this post as the song evolves. Maybe even post it here, after all this IS my official website.

Yay! The single was actually released on the 26th of May but I haven’t seen the video until now and to be honest, that what we loved them for. The corny, cartoonish videos that worked so seamlessly with their songs. I don’t know if this measures up to Barbie Girl but it’s good to have them back anyways ^^

‘Take Me!’ featured in a horror movie!

I should have posted this ages ago, sorry guys. But my song Take Me was featured in a Swedish horror movie back in ‘07. It’s pretty low budget film but it was gross, scary and also a bit funny – i.e. all the stuff you want in a good horror movie.

Garageband.com is this really good website where you can get your music reviewed by music lovers and other musicians. Here’s some the feedback I’ve gotten for my song U Took Me.

I’ve also gotten awards for “Best Male Vocals in Electronic”, “Best Bass in Electronic”,
“Best Programming in Electronic”, “Best Beat in Electronic”, all in the week of 1 Dec 2008.
