Runway music for Johan Balaz X Whyred, part of Beckmans Fashion Collaboration showing att Stockholm Fashion Week.

I was asked by Johan Balaz to make the music for his Fashion Collaboration with Whyred. The collection was aimed at a “hip stay-at-home dad”, so I wanted to make a soft song which still had some edge. The song Dancing On My Own by Robyn has a built in vulnerability and rawness both in its lyrical and melodic content, so I used that as a backdrop for a more playful and corny sound production. We decided to use the pitched-down vocals in order to dehumanize them enough to push the lyrics into the background and keep the collection the main focus of the show.
